About the class
You will have the opportunity to learn how to cook with Verdes Cannabis-Infused Coconut Oil from our expert chef, Nestor Lopez. He will be teaching you how to make two recipes that you can sample during the Learning Lab (non-infused). You will leave with both recipes, dosing suggestions, and new-found inspiration to create your own cannabis-infused creations at home! Feel free to bring your family and friends with you and learn something new together!
About the chef
Chef Nestor Lopez has decades of experience from cooking on movie sets in LA to the Breaking Bad cast here in NM to spending time as a sous chef at Zinc. He brings flavors from South America, Los Angeles, and New Mexico together to create unique culinary creations! Nestor is the proud owner of Gobble This, located in the heart of Old Town where he creates a special dining experience for his guests, while taking them on a food journey. His love for food, flavors, and culture are apparent in everything he creates, and we are excited to have him host our Cooking with Cannabis class!

As the Head of Education & Culture for Verdes Cannabis, a legacy cannabis company in New Mexico, Kelly is responsible for researching, creating, and delivering cannabis education to not only staff but also to clients and the community. She has extensively studied cannabis for the last 5 years, receiving several certificates from the Medical Cannabis Institute and Medical Marijuana 411. She continues her studies by attending medical cannabis conferences and monthly webinars with the top researchers and doctors in the field of medical cannabis. She enjoys being able to use her extensive knowledge and training in cannabis to educate and help others learn about this amazing plant.
